Subscriptions to SVoD services will reach 1.64 billion by 2026 with the US and China accounting for 50% of the total

The world will experience a significant boom in SVoD subscriptions in the next few years, according to the latest figures published by Digital TV Research.
The total number of subscriptions to SVoD services will grow from 491 million in 2021 to 1.64 billion in 2026, with China and the US together accounting for 49% of the global total by 2026, down from 56% in 2021.
