Universal Music Group granted extended time to respond to European Commission’s inquiry into the acquisition of Downtown Music

The European Commission's competition division has pushed back the deadline by which it was due to rule on the acquisition of Downtown Music Holdings by Universal Music Group from November 26 to December 10 at the request of UMG.

USTR calls for comments to inform its annual Notorious Markets List

The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) has launched a request for comments as part of the annual 2025 Review of Notorious Markets for Counterfeiting and Piracy (known as the Notorious Markets List).
