Warner Music Group's publishing division Warner Chappell Music (WCM) has signed Portugal’s songwriter and artist Maninho to a global publishing deal. The artist already has a recording agreement with Warner Music Portugal.
WCM said the signing was part of the company’s "strategic move to sign more Portuguese artists with international appeal and to capitalise on the significant growth and increasing prominence of Portuguese music within the broader Latin-speaking music scene."
