Gregg Nadel promoted to President of A&R at Warner Records Group

Gregg Nadel has been promoted to the newly created central role of President of A&R at Warner Records Group. Based in Los Angeles, he reports to Warner Records Group CEO & Co-Chairman Aaron Bay-Schuck.
Nadel, who has been with Warner Music Group for his entire 28-year career, was most recently Co-Chair & Co-President of Warner Music Nashville, now renamed Warner Records Nashville.

Kobalt signs partnership with Nigerian company Inner Circle Publishing

Independent music publisher Kobalt has signed a new deal with Nigerian publishing company Inner Circle Publishing (INCP). Details of the agreement were not disclosed.
Kobalt said the agreement marks "a significant move in expanding Kobalt’s footprint within the African music market." Inner Circle Publishing was co-founded by Caleb Oyolola and Promise Dennis earlier this year.
