Reservoir Media and PopArabia acquire catalogues from Egypt’s RE Media and rappers El Sawareekh

Reservoir Media, the NASDAQ-listed independent music company, in conjunction with PopArabia, have acquired the catalogue of Cairo-based content production and distribution company RE Media as well as the master and publishing rights for the catalogue of Egyptian rap duo El Sawareekh. The Walt Disney Company posted revenues up 5% to $26.0 billion for the quarter ending December 27, 2025 (the company's first quarter of fiscal 2026), boosted by a 7% revenue growth of the entertainment division to $11.6bn.
