Germany's music rights society GEMA has announced that it will be cutting its online commission on all on-demand music distribution from 10% to 7% by 2027. US music rights society BMI and the Radio Music License Committee (RMLC), which represents the commercial radio sector, have reached a settlement of their rate court proceeding.
