Audius signs recording and publishing licensing partnership with Downtown Music

Discovery platform and marketplace Audius has signed a global deal with Downtown Music, which encompasses both the recording and publishing side of Downtown’s business.
Downtown’s catalogue will be added to Audius, allowing Downtown’s artists and labels to directly connect with fans and monetise content. On Audius, artists can set their own terms and control the pricing of their music, and fans can support their favorite artists with direct payments.

STIM to provide AI companies with the first collective AI license for music

Swedish music rights society STIM has introduced what it describes as "the world’s first collective AI license for music," with the ambition to provide AI companies with licensed tracks to train their models.
