In 2024, global collections from the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC) network of rights societies around the world rose by +6.6%, reaching a record €13.97 billion, thanks mainly to an 11.2% rise in digital revenues, according to CISAC's latest 'Global Collections Report 2025'. Australia plans mandatory content obligations for video streaming services

Australia is joining the cohort of countries with a mandatory content obligation on streaming services.
