Primary Wave Music inks deal with Phil Lynott’s Estate covering music publishing as well as recordings

Independent music publisher and creative assets management company Primary Wave Music has acquired an interest the music publishing catalogue as well as the recordings of Phil Lynott, the late Irish co-founder, lead singer, bass player and songwriter for rock band Thin Lizzy. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Independent music company Concord has unveiled a leadership transition plan for its affiliate Boosey & Hawkes. In June 2026, Janis Susskind will conclude her tenure as Managing Director of B&H, after 46 years with the company, the last 13 of which as MD.
Senior Vice President Steven Lankenau, who has been with B&H for 15 years, will become President on January 1, 2026, and assume full leadership of the company’s global operations from July 1, 2026.
