The European Parliament's Legal Affairs Committee (JURI) has adopted on January 28 the report 'Copyright and generative artificial intelligence – opportunities and challenges', presented by rapporteur Axel Voss (EPP, DE). European Commission agrees on the proposed Digital Networks Act (DNA)

The European Commission has adopted on 21 January 2026 the Digital Networks Act (DNA), a legislation aimed at modernising the legal framework for connectivity and provide the Union with "an advanced and resilient digital infrastructure."
