Mike Easterlin named Managing Director of ONErpm’s Nashville division

ONErpm has appointed Mike Easterlin as Managing Director of its Nashville division. Easterlin will oversee A&R, roster development, and day-to-day operations in Nashville. ONErpm said Easterlin brings "decades of experience in A&R and promotion to the role." He joins from Severance Records, a label he co-founded. Prior to that he was co-President of Warner Music Group's Elektra Records. He started his career in promotion and A&R roles at Virgin, Def Jam, and Atlantic.

Avex Music Group inks distribution agreement with The Orchard

Avex Music Group (AMG), the global music division of Japanese entertainment company Avex, has closed a new distribution agreement with The Orchard, the Sony Music-owned services and distribution company for the independent sector. The deal will cover distribution of all future releases in territories around the world.
