Germany plans investment quotas for video streaming platforms and broadcasters

Germany's government will introduce this spring a legislation that will set mandatory investment requirements for streaming platforms and local broadcasters, calling for them to invest 8% of their annual net revenue generated in Germany into the production of local film and TV shows.
