Independent music company Reservoir Media has sealed an agreement with the Estate of Miles Davis to acquire the late musician and composer's publishing catalogue, as well as selected rights to his recorded music. BMG has appointed Monti Olson to oversee the music publishing operations of the Bertelmann-owned company in North America as Executive Vice President, Publishing. Olson returns to BMG after previously serving from 2018–2022 as EVP, Head of music publishing for the USA.
