British neighbouring rights society PPL has paid out a total of £277.7 million (€316.4m) to performers and recording rights holders in 2025, with a final December distribution of £54.3m to 147,000 members, including over 8,500 first time payees. PRS for Music has distributed £274.9 million to rights holders worldwide in it last distribution of the year, up 4% compared to last year.
