Eighties neo-skiffle band Fairground Attraction have partnered with Absolute Label Services for the release of their first album in 35 years. The first single, 'What’s Wrong With The World?', was released at the end of March.

Absolute will be in charge the marketing, promotion, distribution and sync behind a brand new Fairground Attraction album, 'Beautiful Happening' to be released on band member Mark Nevin’s Raresong Recordings label on September 20.

The Board of Hipgnosis Songs Fund would recommend Blackstone’s $1.5 billion proposal if the offer was confirmed

The $1.5 billion offer made by investment firm Blackstone to acquire the catalogues owned by Hipgnosis Songs Fund (HSF) has received a favourable response from the Board of the London-listed music assets company.
