News/Media Alliance signs opt-in AI licensing agreement with Bria

The News/Media Alliance (NMA), which represents the main news media industry trade association, has signed a partnership with visual generative AI infrastructure Bria allowing NMA members to opt into an AI licensing agreement with the AI-generating content platform. The partnership will also form the foundation for a new Bria product in development designed "to ensure reliable, grounded AI-generated outputs based on participating publishers’ owned content."

Deezer estimates AI-generated songs represent 75,000 of daily uploads and between 1-3% of total streams

AI-generated tracks uploaded daily to Deezer now amount to 75,000, or 44% of total uploads, according to figures released by the Paris-based music streaming platform.
