A1 Telekom Austria and Deezer launch a new music streaming service for Central and Eastern Europe

A1 Telekom Austria Group has teamed with music streaming service Deezer to launch of a new co-branded music service called A1 Xplore Music by Deezer, which will initially be available to about 8.5 million A1 customers in Austria, Slovenia and Bulgaria.

The two partners said this is "the first multi-country European partnership between a telco operator and a music streaming service of its kind."

Independent music publishing and rights management company Kobalt has started a strategic partnership with Udio, the AI-powered music creation platform, which includes the licensing of Kobalt's catalogue through an opt-in process.
