Bipartisan group of Representatives sends letter to Twitter CEO about copyright infringement on the platform

A group of 22 members of the House of Representatives from both parties have sent a letter to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey "regarding the ongoing problem of copyright infringement on Twitter and the platform’s apparent refusal to address it." The bipartisan group is asking Dorsey how he intends to "effectively address these concerns."

US Justice Department starts legal action against Google for alleged anticompetitive behaviour in the digital advertising market

The US Justice Department — alongside eight States — have filed a civil antitrust lawsuit against Google, accusing the Alphabet-owned company of "monopolising multiple digital advertising technology products in violation of Sections 1 and 2 of the Sherman Act."

The suit — in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia — alleges that through serial acquisitions and anticompetitive auction manipulation, Google "subverted competition in Internet advertising technologies."
