Paris-listed independent music company Believe has acquired a 51% stake in Jo&Co, a French independent music and video production company founded by Sébastien Saussez in 2010. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Deezer grows direct subscribers’ base as revenue drops 1.6% to €131.9m in Q1 2026

Music streaming service Deezer has increase its direct subscribers' portfolio both in France and in the rest of the world while partnerships subscribers dropped significantly by 23% during the first quarter of the year. Spotify surpassed 760 million monthly active users at the end of Q1 2026

Spotify closed the first quarter of the year with a record 760 million monthly active users, up 12% year-over-year, of which there were 293 million paid subscribers, up 9% over the same quarter a year prior.
