Take That’s Mark Owen signs global recording and publishing deal with BMG

Take That member Mark Owen has signed a wide-ranging global deal with BMG, which covers new recordings as well as the publishing of his future solo works and songs written with Take That.

peermusic UK has signed British indie band The Reytons to an exclusive, global music publishing deal via a joint venture with Max Music Publishing.

Thomas Coesfeld to replace Hartwig Masuch as CEO of BMG in 2024

German entertainment and media group Bertelsmann has picked Thomas Coesfeld to succeed Hartwig Masuch as CEO of music division BMG, effective January 1, 2024. Coesfeld has served as CFO of BMG since April 2021.

IFPI appoints Sony Music executive Adriana Restrepo as Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean

Adriana Restrepo has been appointed to the role of Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean for the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), which represents the global recorded music industry.
