Independent music publisher Angry Mob Music Group has promoted Ralph Torrefranca to the position of Executive Director of Writer Creative. Based in Los Angeles, Torrefranca will continue to report to Angry Mob’s CEO Marc Caruso.

Scott Borchetta exits HYBE America and plans to relaunch Big Machine Records

US entrepreneur and music executive Scott Borchetta has announced his departure from HYBE America after five years with the North American arm of Korean entertainment conglomerate HYBE. Borchett launched independent music company Big Machine Label Group in 2005 and was acquired in 2019 by Ithaca Holdings, the investment vehicle of Scooter Braun.
