British music rights society PRS for Music has collected £1.24 billion (€1.44bn) in 2025, up 7.7% over the previous year, and had record distributions of £1.07bn (€1.24bn) to its songwriters, composers and music publishers' members in 2025, a 4.9% increase on 2024. The Canadian Musical Reproduction Rights Agency (CMRRA), which collects and distributes mechanical rights in Canada, distributed over CA$94 million (€58.9m) in royalties to its music publisher and self-published songwriter clients for the 2025 fiscal year, slightly down (-2.1%) from CA$96m in 2024.
