US music rights society BMI has appointed Todd Horvath as President and Chief Operating Officer, effective January 26. Horvath will report to BMI CEO Mike O’Neill. In his new role, he will "oversee the company’s ongoing efforts to modernise its platforms, identify new sources of revenue and improve the affiliate experience at BMI." Global Music Rights (GMR) has announced leadership changes with the elevation of the LA-based US music rights society Chief Business Officer Jeff Toig to the position of CEO while co-Founder and CEO Randy Grimmett becomes Executive Chairman.
