Universal Music Group posts revenues of €2.19 billion in Q1 2022, up 16.5% y-o-y

Universal Music Group has posted revenue of €2.19 billion during the first quarter of 2022, an increase of 21.6% year-over-year, or 16.5% year-over-year in constant currency. The company posted EBITDA of €454m for the quarter, driven by revenue growth, up 14.9% y-o-y, or 14.1% in constant currency. Adjusted EBITDA margin was 20.7%, compared to 21.9% in the first quarter of 2021.
