Beatstar has generated $73m in revenue with $16m paid to labels and publishers

The Beatstar app, launched by Space Ape Games, has been downloaded 38 million times in its first year. London-based Space Ape released the game August 31, 2021. During that period, the mobile rhythm game has generated $73 million in revenue with 2.5 billion song plays, with $16 million of the revenue allocated to music labels and publishers.
