Media composer Julian Nott has been appointed as the new Chair of the Members’ Council at British music rights society PRS for Music, effective 1 January 2023. French rights society SACEM has collected a record amount of €1.70 billion in 2025, up 6.5% over 2024, and distributed €1.50bn to 663,000 artists and publishers, a 9% increase from the year prior. The society collected €859 in France, a stable figure (€852m in 2024), and €845m from abroad, up 13 % compared to 2024 (€749m).
