Spain’s music market experienced a 16.6% growth rate during H1 2024 to €249.8m

The Spanish recording market posted resvenues of €249.8 million in the first half of 2024, up 16.6% compared to the same period of 2023, according to figures disclosed by trade organisation Promusicae.

BPI figures show British recorded music market grew 5% year-on-year to £1.57bn

The UK recorded music market generated £1.57 billion in annual revenue in 2025, up 5.0% year-on-year, marking the 11 consecutive years of growth, according to the latest figured published by trade organisation the BPI. Revenue -- which includes income from streaming, physical music, digital downloads, synchronisation, and public performance royalties on sound recordings -- was in 2025 nearly 90% higher than it was the decade before.
