David Arnold receives the Music Publishers Association’s Outstanding Lifetime Achievement award in Film & TV Music

Film and television composer David Arnold has received the Outstanding Lifetime Achievement award in Film & Television Music from the UK's Music Publishers Association (MPA) at the 64th MPA Christmas on December 13. Arnold was honoured for three decades of contribution to film and TV music. The award was presented by MPA Group CEO Paul Clements and singer-songwriter Paloma Faith, who performed 'Tomorrow Never Dies' at the MPA’s event, held at the Intercontinental Hotel at The O2.

Investment firm HarbourView Equity Partners has reached an agreement with the Estate of the late US composer, producer and performer Quincy Jones, in a deal that includes Jones' recorded music and publishing assets, as well as other ancillary rights, including his participation in 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air', which was produced by Jones. Production music licensing platform Slipstream acquires Megatrax
