German music rights society GEMA has sold its 100% stake in digital distribution company Zebralution to Insight Holdings Group, a New York-based private equity firm. Seeker Music acquires Nu Shooz’s recordings and publishing catalogues

Independent music company Seeker Music has acquired the recordings and publishing catalogues of ‘80s synthpop group Nu Shooz, in an agreement with the band's John Smith and Valerie Day. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The band was formed in Portland, Oregon, by guitarist John Smith and vocalist and percussionist Valerie Day.
