Believe acquires a 15% stake in the Philippines’ leading music company Viva Music

Paris-listed music company Believe has sealed a strategic partnership with Viva Music and Artists Group (VMAG), the leading label in the Philippines. Independent publisher and music assets management firm Primary Wave Music, in partnership with Brookfield Asset Management, have closed Primary Wave Music IP Fund 4, which received total commitments of $2.225 billion. IP Fund 4 was backed by an investor base that includes insurance companies, pension funds, endowments, and large family offices. It's the fourth consecutive oversubscribed Primary Wave Fund. It has exceeded its original target of $1.5bn as well as its hard cap of $2bn.
