US Latin recorded music market was up 28% in 2019S

In 2019, the Latin recorded music market in the US grew at a faster rate than the overall US music market. It reached $554 million in 2019, up 28% year-on-year, when the overall market grew by 13%, according to figures released by the RIAA. British record labels association the BPI has appointed Hailey Willington to the newly-created post of BPI Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager.

Directors Guild of America reaches an agreement with Hollywood studios

The Directors Guild of America (DGA) has reached a tentative agreement on the terms of a new three-year collective bargaining agreement with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP), which represents the Hollywood studios, including Netflix and Amazon.
