Amazon Prime to finance 40 TV shows and films in India over the next two years

Amazon Prime Video has announced that is will double its investment in Prime Video India over the next five years to produce local content. As a sign of its commitment to the local scene, the video streaming platform has scheduled some 40 scripted and unscripted original series and co-productions in the Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages over the next 24 month.
