New GEMA/SACEM/Goldmedia study forecasts the global market for generative AI in music will exceed $3 billion in 2028

British neighbouring rights society PPL has paid out £77.7 million to over 28,000 performers and recording rightsholders in its first distribution of the year, covering Q1 2026. PRS for Music files lawsuit against Valve Corporation’s gaming platform Steam
