US music rights society BMI has signed an agreement with rights management company Orfium to acquire Soundmouse, a music cue sheet reporting and monitoring platform for the broadcast and entertainment production industries. Spain's General Society of Authors and Publishers (SGAE) has collected a record €393.4 million in 2025, up 1% over 2024, and has distributed €360 million in royalties to its members in 2025, a 3.1% increase year-over-year.
