Spotify closed 2021 with record revenues of €9.6bn and over 180m paid subscribers

Spotify posted revenues close to €10 billion in 2021, with net sales reaching €9.67bn, a 22.7% increase compared to 2020, when the company had revenues of €7.88bn. Operating profit for the year was €94m, compared to -€293m in 2020, while net profit was -€34m, compared to -€581m in 2020.  Turnover for the last quarter of the year reached €2.689bn, up from €2.168 in Q4 2021, making it the best quarter in the history of the service.
