US-based TV group Univision has acquired the content and media assets of Mexico's Grupo Televisa in a transaction valued at $4.8 billion, with Univision paying Televisa $3bn in cash and $1.45bn in equity. Italy’s Artisti 7607 takes Netflix to court over performers’ remuneration

Artisti 7607, the Italian not-for-profit collecting society has sued Netflix in a Rome civil court to obtain "adequate and proportionate" remuneration that the video streaming service is required to pay by law.

Warner Chappell Music (WCM) has signed an exclusive global publishing deal with up-and-coming R&B singer andsongwriter Maeta.
