That's the total digital advertising revenue in the US for 2021, up 35% over the previous year, according to a new report from the Interactive Advertising Bureau and PWC. The report notes that the increase was above the 12% growth rate registered in 2020, confirming a return to significant growth after the impact of Covid. The IAB disclosed that 10 digital platforms accounted for 78.6% of total digital ad revenue, up from 78.1% in 2020, with combined ad revenues close to $150bn.

Kobalt signs partnership with Nigerian company Inner Circle Publishing

Independent music publisher Kobalt has signed a new deal with Nigerian publishing company Inner Circle Publishing (INCP). Details of the agreement were not disclosed.
Kobalt said the agreement marks "a significant move in expanding Kobalt’s footprint within the African music market." Inner Circle Publishing was co-founded by Caleb Oyolola and Promise Dennis earlier this year.

Leho Nigul promoted to Chief Technology Officer at Warner Music Group
