BAM Music acquires French production music specialist Encore Merci

BAM Music has acquired French independent music publishing company Encore Merci from founder David Séchan and business partner Juliette Metz, following a four-year partnership between the two companies. The details of the transaction were not disclosed. Encore Merci will now be 100%-owned by BAM Music group, but will continue to function as a stand-alone entity. Metz will join BAM Music's staff as Head of International, Copyright & HR. She will also continue as GM of Encore Merci.

Sony Music Publishing Scandinavia has acquired the rights to Sound Pollution Songs' existing catalogue of approximately 5,000 works. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
