CISAC elects Kazuhiko Fukuoji and Ángeles González-Sinde Reig as Vice-Presidents

Japanese painter Kazuhiko Fukuoji and Spanish screenwriter, director, illustrator, and children’s author Ángeles González-Sinde Reig have been elected Vice-Presidents of CISAC, the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers. The two creators were elected by the CISAC General Assembly, held in Mexico City on 1 June. They replace Chinese film director Jia Zhang-Ke and Spanish visual artist Miquel Barceló who did not seek re-election.

India's neighbouring rights society PPL India has been granted registration as a Copyright Society under the Copyright Act, 1957 by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, and has been permitted to operate as a licensing and collecting for the use of sound recordings on behalf of labels and performers.
