SGAE postpones its General Assembly to Jan. 2020; launches new AV division

The Board of Directors of Spanish rights society SGAE has once again postponed the Extraordinary General Assembly during which the new statutes of the organisation were going to be presented for approval by SGAE members. The meeting was scheduled for October 15 and will not take place "until the beginning of the year 2020," according to SGAE.

CISAC elects Kazuhiko Fukuoji and Ángeles González-Sinde Reig as Vice-Presidents

Japanese painter Kazuhiko Fukuoji and Spanish screenwriter, director, illustrator, and children’s author Ángeles González-Sinde Reig have been elected Vice-Presidents of CISAC, the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers.

The two creators were elected by the CISAC General Assembly, held in Mexico City on 1 June. They replace Chinese film director Jia Zhang-Ke and Spanish visual artist Miquel Barceló who did not seek re-election.
