Facebook has launched the Facebook Independent Artist Program, which will help independent artists and creators to share their music across the social media's platform, Facebook and Instagram. Rotana signs licensing deal with TikTok

Arabic music powerhouse Rotana Music Group has signed a licensing agreement with TikTok, which will make Rotana’s Arab music catalogue available on the short format platform.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Rotana Music Group, established in 1993, has grown to become the largest record label and music repertoire holder in the Arab world. Canada-based lyrics licensing platform LyricFind has promoted Roy Hennig (pictured, left) to Senior Vice President of Sales, and Nik McLeod (pictured, right) as Vice President of Publishing.

Merlin’s partnership with STYNGR opens access to a new business model

Independent labels’ digital music licensing agency Merlin has sealed a "dynamic" new agreement with STYNGR, a platform providing a turnkey music licensing solution for video games and the metaverse.
