Warner Music Group to acquire Middle East and North Africa distributor Qanawat Music

Warner Music Group (WMG) has entered into an agreement to acquire Dubai-based Qanawat Music, a music distributor serving the Middle East and North Africa, in a move which “will see Warner Music significantly expand its presence across the region,” according to a statement from WMG. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
